Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 494(STA) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 494(STA) was read the third time. Representative MacLean moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 494(STA) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 1994-03-25 House Journal Page 2975 HB 494 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative MacLean: Page 4, line 14, after "STAFF.": Insert "(a)" Page 4, after line 19: Insert a new subsection to read: "(b) A person who has served as a trustee of the authority or on the board of directors of the former Alaska State Pension Investment Board may not be employed by the authority for a period of one year after the end of the service as a trustee or on the board of directors, as appropriate." Representative MacLean moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall CSHB 494(STA) am pass the House?"
